A Pella windows and sliding door package from JMB Builders: we measure the slider and every window in one visit, order them from the same Pella line through ABC Supply so the frame color and glass match, and install the door and windows on one schedule across the Twin Cities metro. Priced per project, each opening on its own line. Photos get a reply within one business day, or book a free in-home estimate.
- Priced per project, line by line
- Slider and windows from the same Pella line
- 250 Series, Encompass or Impervia

Pella pairs each of its vinyl and fiberglass window lines with a sliding patio door: the 250 Series slider, the Encompass slider and the Impervia slider. Order the door from the same line as the windows and the frame color, interior finish and glass come out the same. Mix lines and you may get two shades of white side by side on the back of the house.
The slider is a different install from the windows. Its sill sits on the subfloor, takes all the foot traffic and most of the water that runs off the deck, so the old door's sill area is where rot hides. We look at it at the measure, and again when the old door comes out. A new sill pan goes under every door we set. Then the frame is set level and square without bowing the vinyl or fiberglass, the panel rollers are adjusted, and the lock is checked to engage cleanly.
This page is the supply-and-install package. If you bought a Pella door yourself and only need it installed, use our labor-only Pella sliding door page.

How it is priced: per project
Quoted in writing from your photos, with a reply within one business day. What moves the number:
- Which Pella line and how many windows
- Slider width and number of panels
- Sill or subfloor rot found when the old door comes out
- Insert, replacement or nail-fin frames at the windows
- Siding, stucco or brick at the door and windows
- Glass upgrades and dual-color frames
- Interior trim and painting scope
Send a photo of the slider inside and out with a tape across the width, a photo of the sill, and one photo of each window labeled by room.
How long it takes
Lead time depends on the brand and is written on the quote. The slider usually goes in on a day of its own; windows follow room by room.

Pella Windows and Sliding Door Package, Measured and Installed: questions, answered
Which Pella sliding door matches Pella 250 Series windows?
The 250 Series sliding patio door. It comes in the same frame colors as the 250 windows and takes the same glass choices. Ordered on the same order, the door and windows match.
Should the patio door go in before or after the windows?
We usually set the door first, on its own day, because the door opening needs the most sill work and has to be closed and locked that night. The windows follow room by room. If the door arrives later than the windows, the order flips.
What if the floor under my old slider is soft?
Soft subfloor at the sill is common under old sliders. The repair is quoted and approved before we do it, then the opening gets a sill pan and the new door. We never set a new door on rotted framing.
Can you install a Pella hinged patio door with the windows?
Pella's hinged patio doors are in its wood lines, which are mostly sold through Pella's own showrooms. Through ABC Supply we work with the 250 Series, Encompass and Impervia sliders. If you buy a hinged Pella door yourself, we can install it labor only.
Can I phase a Pella windows and door package?
Yes. Every opening is its own line on the quote, so you can do the door and the back of the house first. The line, color and glass are written down so the next order matches.
Do you sell Pella windows and doors?
On this job, yes: we order the Pella windows and slider through ABC Supply and install them. We are an independent installer, not a Pella dealer, and we confirm availability and lead time with the branch before the quote is final.
