Andersen 100 Series whole house replacement: JMB Builders supplies the Fibrex composite windows through ABC Supply and installs every one, across the Twin Cities metro and north to St. Cloud. Each opening is measured in person, the whole house goes on one order, and the quote lists every window with its price. Photos get a reply within one business day; a free in-home estimate is the other way in.
- Priced per window, listed opening by opening
- Fibrex composite, supplied by JMB
- Dark exterior colors available on this line

The 100 Series is Andersen's most affordable line. Frames and sash are solid Fibrex, Andersen's composite of reclaimed wood fiber and thermoplastic, and it comes in dark exteriors like Dark Bronze and Black that plain vinyl struggles to hold. For a whole house where the budget is set but you still want one national brand on every opening, it is the Andersen people price first.
Know the line before you plan the house around it. The 100 Series is offered as single-hung, casement, awning, gliding, picture, transom and specialty shapes, plus a gliding patio door. Andersen does not list a double-hung in it, and it is dual-pane only. If every bedroom has double-hungs you want to keep as double-hungs, or you want triple-pane, we show you the 400 Series price next to it on the same quote.
This is the supply-and-install job. We write the order, so sizing and install type are on us. Homeowners who have already bought 100 Series units at a store use our labor-only Andersen page instead.

What you supply
- Exterior color, interior color, grille pattern and glass choice for the whole house, decided at the measure
- Rooms cleared back from the windows on the day each room is scheduled
- Pets and alarm systems handled on install days
- A yes or no on painting new interior trim, which is quoted as its own line
What JMB supplies
- In-person measure of every opening before anything is ordered
- A written quote by opening: room, style, size, install type, glass, trim
- Every 100 Series window on one order through ABC Supply, so color and glass match
- Floor protection and furniture covers in each room we work in
- Old windows out and hauled away; each opening closed the same day
- Sill pan, flashing tape, foam and sealant at every opening
- Interior extension jambs and casing or drywall returns, and exterior trim as quoted
- Photos of every finished window in your job folder
How it is priced: per window
Quoted in writing from your photos, with a reply within one business day. What moves the number:
- Number of windows and how many are casements, gliders or large picture units
- Insert into the old frame or full-frame with a nailing fin
- Dark exterior color or a dark interior versus white
- Glass upgrades such as Low-E4 SmartSun or the HeatLock coating
- Siding type at full-frame openings: lap and vinyl open faster than stucco or brick
- Interior finish: casing and extension jambs or a drywall return
- Upper-floor openings that need staging
Send a photo of each window from inside and outside, labeled by room, plus a tape across one old jamb. That is enough for a first number.
How long it takes
Lead time depends on the brand and is written on the quote. Install days: several working days for most houses, more when most openings are full frame.

Situations and options
All 100 Series
Every opening in Fibrex, one color outside and in. Double-hung openings become single-hungs or gliders, which we show you at the measure.
100 Series with a 400 Series front
The 100 Series around the sides and back, and the 400 Series on the street side where you want a double-hung or a wood interior. Both are written on one line-item quote so you can see the difference.
Windows plus the 100 Series patio door
Andersen makes a 100 Series gliding patio door. Ordered with the windows, it gets the same exterior color and glass and goes in on the same schedule.
Phased by side of the house
The worst side this year, the rest next year. The color, glass and grille choices are written on the quote so the second order matches the first.
Andersen 100 Series Whole House Replacement — Fibrex, Every Opening: questions, answered
Is the Andersen 100 Series a good choice for replacing every window in a Minnesota house?
It is Andersen's value line, made of Fibrex composite rather than vinyl, and it holds dark exterior colors well. It is dual-pane only, so for cold-climate performance the glass coatings do the work: Low-E4, SmartSun or the HeatLock room-side coating. If you want triple-pane, the A-Series is where Andersen offers it as a normal option.
Does the Andersen 100 Series come in a double-hung?
Andersen does not list a double-hung in the 100 Series. The line offers single-hung, casement, awning, gliding, picture and specialty shapes. If keeping double-hungs matters to you, we price those openings in the 400 Series on the same quote so you can compare.
Can you buy the Andersen 100 Series windows for me?
Yes. We measure, write the order and buy the windows through ABC Supply, then install them. We are an independent installer, not an Andersen dealer. Because we write the order, a sizing mistake is ours to correct.
How do I compare your Andersen 100 Series quote with another one?
Our quote lists every opening by room with its style, size, install type, glass and trim, priced per window. Lay another quote next to it opening by opening. If the other quote is one number for the house, ask for the same list.
How long until the Andersen 100 Series windows arrive?
Lead time depends on the brand, the colors and the season, and it is written on the quote. We set install days once the order is in hand, not before, so you are never waiting with a window out.
Does the house get left open while you replace all the windows?
No. We take out only as many windows as we can set, flash and close that day, working room by room. Floors are covered and the old windows are hauled away as we go.
