Ply Gem sells its vinyl windows in regional versions, East and West, and the series you can order depends on your ZIP code. The lineup runs from builder vinyl (1100, Classic and Pro Series) through the insulated-frame East Premium Series and the 1500 Vinyl Collection to the MIRA aluminum-clad wood series. For a Minnesota address the list is shorter than the catalog. We check what our ABC Supply branch can order for you first, and quote from that.
Then it is the whole-house routine, done in order. We measure every opening in person and check it for square, rot and how the outside is finished. Each window goes on the quote on its own line: room, style, size, glass, insert or full frame, interior and exterior trim. All of it goes on one order so the color and grilles match from front to back.
Install days run a room at a time. We cover the floors and the furniture, pull the old window, pan and flash the opening, set and foam the new one, and trim it before moving on. Nothing is left open overnight.

Why does Ply Gem ask for my ZIP code?
Ply Gem sells regional versions of its vinyl windows, and which series can be ordered depends on the ZIP code. A series you see online may not be sold for a Minnesota address. We check what our ABC Supply branch can order for your house before we quote.
Can you supply Ply Gem windows, or do I buy them at the store?
We supply them. JMB Builders orders Ply Gem windows through ABC Supply, measures and installs them. If you already bought Ply Gem windows at a lumberyard or The Home Depot, we also install those labor only.
What is the difference between Ply Gem vinyl and MIRA?
The vinyl series have vinyl frames inside and out. MIRA is aluminum-clad wood: a painted aluminum exterior with a solid wood interior you can stain or paint. Finishing that wood is quoted as its own line, or you can finish it yourself.
Should every window be a full-frame replacement?
Not usually. Openings with sound frames get inserts; openings with rot, failed flashing or a size change go full frame. We decide opening by opening at the measure and mark it on each line of the quote.
Are you a Ply Gem dealer?
No. JMB Builders is an installer and a licensed Minnesota residential building contractor, BC809005. Product specs and warranty paperwork come from Ply Gem; the measure, install and trim are ours.
How do I compare your Ply Gem quote with another one?
