Your building needs vinyl to stay on budget, but the owner wants a national brand, a dark exterior option and a triple-pane choice for the cold side.

Pella 250 Series apartment windows are Pella's step-up vinyl line: multichambered frames Pella rates 52% stronger than ordinary vinyl, optional foam-filled frames and optional triple-pane glass. JMB Builders measures every unit, orders the building as one package and installs unit by unit across the Twin Cities metro to St. Cloud. Priced per opening. Photo reply within one business day, or a free walkthrough.
- Priced per opening, listed by unit
- Optional foam frames and triple-pane
- Dual-color frames with dark exteriors

The 250 Series is Pella's featured vinyl window. Pella rates the frame 52% stronger than ordinary vinyl, based on the force it takes to bend the profile, and builds it with multichambered frames and reinforced sash. Two options matter on a Minnesota building: foam insulation in the frame chambers and 1-inch triple-pane glass.
Colors are White, Almond or Fossil on both sides, or a White interior with a Brown or Black exterior; Pella has announced more exterior colors for its vinyl lines, so we confirm what is current. The line covers single-hung, double-hung, casement, awning, sliding, picture, bay and bow, plus a 250 Series sliding patio door for balcony units.
Pella lists the 250 Series in its ABC Supply program, but what each branch carries varies, so we confirm the line with our ABC branch before the bid is final. Before we bid, we check the city's contractor licensing and permit rules for that building. Encompass by Pella can be priced next to it for a lower-cost building.

Pella 250 Series Apartment Windows — Vinyl for a Rental Building: questions, answered
Is the Pella 250 Series a good window for an apartment building?
It is a vinyl line with options that matter in Minnesota: foam-filled frames, triple-pane glass and dual-color dark exteriors. It covers most styles a building needs, including double-hung and a matching sliding patio door. We price it per opening so the owner can compare it with other lines.
Can Pella 250 Series windows be ordered with triple-pane glass?
Yes. Pella offers optional 1-inch triple-pane glass on the 250 Series, and optional foam insulation in the frame. Some owners put triple-pane on the north and west elevations only; the bid shows both.
Can you get Pella 250 Series windows in black for a building?
Pella offers a White interior with a Black or Brown exterior, and has announced more exterior colors for its vinyl lines. We confirm the current list with samples at the walkthrough.
Where do you get Pella 250 Series windows?
Pella lists the 250 Series in its ABC Supply program. Branch stock varies, so we confirm the line with our ABC branch before the bid is final. We are an installer, not a Pella dealer.
What is the difference between Pella 250 and Encompass for a rental?
Encompass is Pella's entry vinyl line: welded frames, Low-E argon glass, White, Almond or Fossil, and dual-pane only. The 250 Series adds foam-filled frames, triple-pane, dual-color exteriors and more styles. Both can be priced on one bid.
Do the Pella 250 windows go in the whole building at once?
The building is ordered as one package so colors and glass match, then installed unit by unit on a schedule you approve. Only the openings we can close that day are taken out.
