Window Quote Without High Pressure Sales — Written, Yours to Keep
The last window appointment ran three hours and ended with a price that was only good tonight.

A window quote without high pressure sales from JMB Builders is a written, line-item quote you can read on your own time: every opening listed, the line and glass named, lead time and payment terms written down. There is no sign-today discount and no price that changes when you leave the table. Twin Cities metro to St. Cloud, priced per project, from photos or a free in-home estimate.
- No sign-today price
- Written quote, every opening listed
- Free in-home estimate or photos

A one-day-only window price is a sales tool. The price that is good tonight and gone tomorrow is meant to stop you from getting a second quote. A whole-house window job is a big check; you should be able to read the quote twice, call your spouse, and get another number on the same openings.
Our in-home visit is a measure, not a presentation. We go window to window, check each frame for rot and square, note the wall type and the trim, and answer your questions about lines and glass. Then the quote comes to you in writing: each opening on its own line, the specs for the whole house, the lead time, and how payment works. The price on it does not depend on signing that day.
If you would rather skip the visit to start, send photos. You hear back within one business day, and the in-person measure happens before anything is ordered.
Get a written quote for this job
Three photos and a sentence is enough: a reply within one business day, or ask for a free in-home estimate. Or text the photos to 763-204-2099.
What you supply
- Photos of each window, or a time for the free in-home estimate
- Your questions: lines, glass, colors, what to do about the trim
- Other quotes, if you want the same openings priced side by side
- Painting: quoted as a separate line, or leave it primed and caulked and paint it yourself
What JMB supplies
- A measure visit spent at the windows, not at the kitchen table
- A written quote with every opening on its own line
- The line, color and glass named, so you can compare quotes
- Lead time (it depends on the brand) and payment terms in writing
- A second line priced on the same openings, if you ask
- Answers by phone or text after the quote, without a follow-up push
How it is priced: per project
Quoted in writing from your photos, with a reply within one business day. What moves the number:
- Number and mix of openings
- Line, frame material and glass package
- Insert vs. full frame, opening by opening
- Wall type around full-frame openings
- Interior and exterior trim scope
- Manufacturer price changes between the quote and the order date
The quote says how long its price is good for. If the manufacturer raises prices after that, we tell you before you sign.
How long it takes
The measure visit takes as long as the house does, window by window. Lead time depends on the brand and is written on the quote; install runs several working days for most houses.
How your project works
- 1
Send photos, get a written quote
Send three photos of the space and a sentence about what you want. You get a clear, itemized reply within one business day. Prefer a look in person? A free in-home estimate is always an option.
- 2
Pick materials, or bring your own
We help you choose profiles and materials that fit the house and the budget, or match your existing millwork exactly — or you buy the door or trim yourself and we install it. Everything is confirmed before the crew is scheduled.
- 3
Clean, precise installation
The crew shows up on time, protects floors and furniture, and installs with tight joints and consistent reveals. Photos of the finished work go in your job folder.
- 4
Walkthrough and invoice
We walk the finished work with you. If anything is not right, we fix it before we call the job done. Then one invoice, paid by check or direct deposit — no card fees, no payment links.
Window Quote Without High Pressure Sales — Written, Yours to Keep: questions, answered
Why do some window companies give a price that is only good today?
A same-day price is a sales technique meant to close the deal before you get another quote. A real price is based on the windows, the install and the trim, and it does not change because you took a week to decide. If the only way to get a price is to sign tonight, that tells you something.
Can I get a window estimate without a sales pitch?
Yes. Send photos of each window and you hear back within one business day, or book a free in-home estimate, which is a measure visit at the windows, not a presentation. The quote comes in writing afterward.
How long is your window quote good for?
The time it holds is written on the quote. Window prices are set by the manufacturers and change a few times a year, so if a price increase lands before you order, we tell you before you sign.
Will you keep calling me after the quote?
No. You get the written quote and a way to reach us. If you have questions or want a change priced, call or text; if you go another way, that is fine.
How do I tell an honest window replacement estimate from a sales number?
An honest estimate lists every opening, names the line and glass, says insert or full frame, includes trim and disposal, and shows lead time and payment terms. A sales number is one total, a discount that expires, and specs you have to ask for.
Can I take your quote to another contractor to compare?
Yes. Your quote is yours. Comparing the same opening list, line and trim scope across two quotes is the fairest way to choose.
