JMB Builders will install the LifeProof vinyl plank flooring you bought, or any click-lock LVP from Home Depot, Menards, Floor & Decor or Costco, labor only, across the Twin Cities. We check the subfloor against the install guide in the box, pull and reset trim, undercut door jambs and lay the planks. Priced per room, quoted from photos within one business day.

LifeProof is Home Depot's house brand of rigid-core vinyl plank, and Menards, Floor & Decor and Costco all sell their own click-lock LVP. The planks go together the same way, but every box has its own install guide: subfloor flatness, acclimation, expansion gaps, underlayment rules, and what voids the warranty. We read your brand's guide before we start, not after.
The part that decides how the floor turns out is under it. Click-lock planks bridge small dips but pop apart or click over high spots. So the subfloor is checked with a straightedge, high spots ground or sanded, low spots filled, and squeaks screwed down. Then the trim comes off, door jambs are undercut so the planks slide under, and the floor goes down with the gap the guide calls for, hidden under base and shoe.

Will you install LifeProof vinyl plank flooring I bought?
Yes. We install LifeProof from Home Depot labor only, following the install guide in the box. We check the subfloor, pull and reset trim, undercut jambs, lay the planks and install the transitions.
Do you install vinyl plank from Menards, Floor & Decor or Costco?
Yes. Any click-lock LVP, from any store. The install is similar, but each brand's guide has its own rules for subfloor, gaps and underlayment, and we follow the one in your box.
How much extra LVP should I buy?
The store or the guide usually recommends a waste allowance, and more for rooms with angles or lots of doorways. Send your room sizes and product before you buy and we check it. Keep a box for future repairs.
Does the subfloor have to be flat for LifeProof?
Yes. Rigid-core planks bridge small dips, but high spots and low spots beyond what the guide allows make joints pop apart or click. We check with a straightedge and grind or fill before the floor goes down.
Do you move the trim and trim the doors?
Yes. Base and shoe come off and go back on, or new shoe goes in. Door jambs are undercut so planks slide under, and doors that rub after the new floor are cut down.
