Silver Line was Andersen Corporation's vinyl brand until Andersen sold Silver Line and American Craftsman to Ply Gem in a deal that closed on October 14, 2018. Today Silver Line is a brand of Cornerstone Building Brands (Ply Gem's parent, Cary, North Carolina), which positions it as its stylish, economical vinyl line. It is not an Andersen product, and Andersen's own entry-level vinyl-composite line is the Andersen 100 Series.
Silver Line's current lineup is the V1 Series (economy double-hung, single-hung, gliding windows, and gliding patio doors) and the V3 Series (premium vinyl double-hung, casement, awning, gliding, bay and bow, specialty windows, and gliding patio doors). The older numbered series are no longer marketed by those names: some numbers live on as model numbers in Silver Line's V1 and V3 technical documents (the 2900 under the V1 single-hung, the 8600 under the V3 double-hung insert window, and 9500 Impact under the V3 Coastal Watch double-hung), while the 8500 no longer appears at all. We keep their pages for homeowners who own them.
Silver Line is sold through big-box stores, chiefly The Home Depot, and through building-supply distributors. JMB Builders is an independent installer and installs Silver Line windows and patio doors across the Twin Cities metro, including units you buy yourself.

Silver Line's former premium double-hung. The 9500 name is no longer marketed; the number survives only on the V3 Coastal Watch impact double-hung, and the V3 Series is the current premium tier.
