The V3 Series is Silver Line's premium vinyl window and patio door portfolio, with traditional styling, enhanced features, and wider profiles than the V1, plus tilt-in sashes on double-hung units for cleaning. Bay and bow windows are offered only in the V3.
The style range covers double-hung, single-hung, casement, awning, gliding, bay and bow, and specialty windows, plus a gliding patio door with thick, wide profiles that ships fully assembled, with a single-lever multi-point lock, exterior keyed lock, self-leveling rollers, steel-reinforced panels, and an integral J-channel for siding. Dark Bronze and Black exteriors (White interior) are available.
Glass options include Low-E with argon fill in ENERGY STAR certified configurations; impact-resistant glass and structural upgrades are offered for coastal areas. The series is backed by Silver Line's Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Insulation and energy performance in Minnesota
The V3 is the Silver Line series to choose for Minnesota: wider frames, casement and awning units that close against compression weatherstrip, and Low-E argon glass in an ENERGY STAR configuration. Ask for the Northern certified package, and prefer casements over sliders on the windward side of the house because a cranked-shut sash seals tighter than a sliding one.
Glass packages
- Low-E with argon fill in ENERGY STAR certified configurations
- Impact-resistant glass for coastal areas; tempered and obscure glass by configuration
- Triple-pane is not listed on Silver Line's V3 pages; ask if a triple package is offered for your configuration
Frame and sash
Wider multi-chamber vinyl frame and sash than the V1; casement and awning sashes close against compression weatherstrip. Silver Line does not list foam fill or publish an air-leakage figure for the V3.
Ratings
ENERGY STAR certified configurations with Low-E argon glass; Silver Line does not publish U-factor ranges on the V3 pages, so check the NFRC label on the ordered unit.
What the install adds
On install day we set the unit on a sill pan, tape the nailing fin or frame to the housewrap, fill the rough-opening gap with low-expansion foam, and finish the interior with backer rod and sealant so the air seal is continuous. Outside, a sealant joint at the trim or siding keeps water out of the wall.
