Fiber-Classic is the woodgrain fiberglass line Therma-Tru built its name on. It comes in two collections, Fiber-Classic Mahogany and Fiber-Classic Oak, each designed to extend the wood tones of a home's interior to the front entry. The doors take stain or paint, and Therma-Tru's factory PrismaGuard finish is offered in a standard assortment of stain and paint colors. New for 2026, a three-quarter-lite flush-glazed Shaker door and matching sidelites join the line.
Like every Therma-Tru fiberglass door it is built on a polyurethane foam core and sold as a complete door system. The system carries Therma-Tru's lifetime limited warranty, and PrismaGuard finishes carry a 10-year limited finish warranty.
For a Twin Cities home, Fiber-Classic is the sensible step below Classic-Craft: real-looking grain, no rot or rust, and the same glass and weatherstrip system. Order Low-E glass in the lites and a factory finish so the door arrives sealed against winter humidity swings.

Order Low-E glass in every lite and choose triple-pane privacy or textured glass for a door that faces north or west.

Frame and sash
Woodgrain fiberglass skins over a polyurethane foam core; sold as a complete door system with matched frame, sill and compression weatherstripping.
Ratings
Therma-Tru states that more than 80 percent of its door and glass combinations are ENERGY STAR qualified and NFRC certified, with options for all 50 states; ask for the Northern-zone glass package when ordering.
What the install adds
On install day we set the frame on a sill pan, tape the frame to the housewrap, fill the rough-opening gap with low-expansion foam, and finish the interior with backer rod and sealant so the air barrier is continuous. Exterior joints get backer rod and a quality sealant, and we adjust the sill and strike so the weatherstrip compresses evenly all the way around.
