Insulation and energy performance in Minnesota
A Belleville slab insulates well on its own thanks to its polyurethane foam core; heat loss on an entry door comes mostly from the glass and the perimeter seal. For Minnesota, choose a solid or smaller-lite design, order Low-E argon glass on any lites, and buy the complete Performance Door System rather than a slab alone so the weatherstrip and sill are matched to the door.

What the install adds
