In June 2025 Cornerstone added coextruded black interior and exterior frames: UV inhibitors and reflective pigments are layered into the vinyl during extrusion for weathering resistance and less heat buildup. A black exterior can be paired with a white or black interior, and a matching 1500 sliding patio door is available.

What the install adds
On install day we set the unit on a sill pan, tape the nailing fin or frame to the housewrap, fill the rough-opening gap with low-expansion foam, and finish the interior with backer rod and sealant so the air seal is continuous. Outside, a sealant joint at the trim or siding keeps water out of the wall.
