The 150 Series is a straightforward vinyl window: multichambered non-conductive frame and a Low-E argon dual-pane unit. It is not offered in triple-pane, so for Minnesota pick the Low-E argon glass (standard) and let a tight install carry the rest; for Northern-zone numbers or foam-filled frames, step up to the 250 Series.

What the install adds
On install day we set the unit on a sloped sill pan, tape the flanges or brickmould to the housewrap with flashing tape, fill the rough-opening gap with low-expansion foam, and seal the interior with backer rod and sealant before trim goes on. The exterior joint gets backer rod and sealant too, so the rating on the label is what the wall actually gets.
